I’ve lived in DC for three years and I’ve yet to see the Fourth of July fireworks. This might be my year.

I don’t recommend it. We went the first year we moved here and it was one of the worst things I’ve ever done. Ridiculous/annoying/touristy crowds. Hot. Lines for food took about two hours (for a six dollar hot dog). And the best part? When the actually do the fireworks you can’t see them if you are at the mall because of the smoke. Maybe it was just me but I didn’t enjoy it.
